Early Years Diwali Celebration

Headline: Khushiyon wali Diwali

Write Up :

Diwali is known as the festival of lights, and depicts the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. We, at EIS, moved one step closer to overcome the darkness of ignorance by understanding the Global Goals set by the United Nations. We identified strong connections between the Festival of Diwali and Sustainable Development Goals like ‘Life on Land’, ‘Partnerships for the Goals’, ‘Climate Action’ etc.

This Diwali, we pledged to be mindful by celebrating a green Diwali and making it meaningful for each and everyone. We celebrated the festival by watching a story to understand the importance of Diwali during our school Assembly. We also shared ‘What Diwali means to us’ by showing and telling one thing that represents the festival.

Something to remember as we look forward to celebrating Diwali with our family and friends,

Diwali khushiyon ka tyohaar hai

Nacho gayo deepak jalao

Rangoli banao uphaar do aur payo

Ladoo banake sab ko khilayo

Khush raho aur khushiyan failayo
