We did the Highest form of Research…… We Played!!!
In the Nursery class we are exploring the line of inquiry ‘Learning through play’. We carried out a range of hands-on engagements that gave us an opportunity to learn through play.
Through these experiences we explored scientific experiments in small groups and made predictions as well as observations related to the process and outcome.
We practised ‘Trial and Error’ while building and constructing with different resources like cards blocks links and tiles.
It was interesting to experiment making sounds and rhythm to the beat of our body parts as we demonstrated our understanding of Body Percussion under Aspect 3 as part of our Letters and Sounds language programme. While doing so we demonstrated the learner profile of being ‘Risk-takers, Inquirers, Open minded and Courageous. It was a week full of learning how to learn!!
