Ms. Sanah Batta holds a degree in law from the O.P. Jindal Law School, India and a Masters in law. She practiced as an Advocate for a few years, however, for the love of education, decided to enter into policy and academia. Her area of expertise is Education Law and she is a Child Protection Specialist.
Sanah, in collaboration with FICCI ARISE (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry, Alliance for Reimaging School Education) has authored the School Safety & Child Protection Manual for schools in India which serves as a guide for implementation of child protection laws.
She is also the founder of NAVASHA, meaning new hope, a community outreach initiative that aims to protect children from violence and sexual abuse. She conducts sensitization and capacity building workshops for schools, NGOs, police and parents. She has successfully conducted training sessions for all stakeholders who work with children. She has successfully conducted sensitisation sessions for schools, trained teachers and counsellors across the country, impacting the lives of many children.
As the trustee and legal advisor to Bloom Public School, New Delhi, India, she advises and assists the school on various issues such as employment matters, labor concerns, compliances, student safety, communication with governmental authorities etc.
She is a Resource Person for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). Her role as a resource person entails creation of question papers, revision of the legal studies textbooks, creation of special legal modules and spreading legal awareness.
Mr. Satish Chand Mathur retired from the Indian Police Service [IPS] as Director General of Police, Maharashtra. During his illustrious career spanning nearly 37 years, he held various sensitive and challenging assignments such as Commissioner of Police, Pune, Director of Anti-Corruption Bureau, Maharashtra culminating at the helm of an over 2.25 lakh force of Maharashtra Police as DGP. He also served in the Central Bureau of Investigation from 1996 to 2003. During his service in the Indian Police Service, he received several decorations for his outstanding service from the President of India.
He holds a Bachelors’ degree in Arts and Masters’ degree in Arts- History from Delhi University, St Stephen’s College. He is a gold medal recipient of Delhi University for standing first in the B.A. (Hons) History exam, 1978. He ably handled the extremely arduous task of Chief of Mumbai Traffic from 2003 to 2007. Shri Mathur also served one of the then largest PSU in India viz., Air India (2007-2012) as Executive Director. He is currently engaged as an Advisor to Essar Capital Limited, Mumbai besides being an Independent Director on the Board of other companies.

Notably, he received the Emerging Entrepreneur 2024 in Food Processing Industry award, presented by Dr. Jitendra Singh, MOS in PMO (New India Vision 2047). This accolade is among several recognitions that highlight his exceptional leadership and innovation.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Ashaq Banday is deeply committed to community service and philanthropy. He actively supports various charitable initiatives and maintains a balanced approach to his professional and personal life. His visionary leadership and dedication continue to inspire those around him.
Darlene Fisher EdD has worked for 40+ years in education. Her current work includes accreditation, consulting and coaching for NEASC as an International Accreditation Leader and also with the IB as a Lead Educator and workshop designer. She has worked with teacher training for ECIS and Cambridge (CIE), as well as mentoring heads of school and consulting on curricula and teacher development across Asia, Middle East and Europe.
Her work with schools involves focused development of leadership and teacher capacity to create, implement and evaluate learning which is authentic, appropriate for learners’ current and possible future needs, and evaluation of impact.
