I am a Grade 1 Homeroom teacher at EIS. I believe that a small spark of curiosity can lead to great learnings and a big part of our job is to ignite curiosity. I feel I am very fortunate because I get to live my childhood with my students every year. In my teaching journey of over 16 years, I believe in providing a learning environment where children are happy and develop high self-esteem. In addition to that, I feel that children should be treated as individuals and to treasure their unique characteristics. My goal through a creative approach is to devise and develop ways to encourage children further while also aiming to challenge and enthuse them and to help them deepen their knowledge and understanding.
